Signature Group, a full service commercial real estate firm, has negotiated a lease for 16,000 s/f of office space at Three Parklands Dr., Parklands Office Park, on behalf of Norseland, Inc. Norseland, the exclusive sales and marketing agent for Jarlsberg, Jarlsberg Lite and other Norwegian specialty cheeses, is relocating from its current location in Stamford near the Darien line to accommodate both current needs and anticipated growth. Nick DeLuca, a Signature Group principal, and Mark Jacobs a vice president of the firm, represented Norseland. Signature Group president Bob Gillon negotiated on behalf of the property owner Parklands Office Park, LLC. According to Norseland president and CEO John Sullivan, the move is tied to a strategic decision to seek and take advantage of growth opportunities. The company, which started in Old Greenwich in 1978, has made some key hires and foresees additional hiring going forward. "We were pleased to find high quality space, conveniently located for our employees and visitors, that will meet our needs for the foreseeable future," Sullivan said. "This lease confirms that well-located, meticulously maintained and managed properties continue to attract top tenants," said.
