SIOR New England celebrated global Service Day on May 8 by joining the Pease Greeters to welcome back 170 troops

Portsmouth, NH On May 8, the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) celebrated its inaugural global SIOR Service Day to commemorate the organization’s long history with community service and involvement. In recognition of the event, SIOR’s New England Chapter was one of many to plan its own local charitable initiative. The chapter joined the veterans support group Pease Greeters to welcome back 170 troops who had served for the past nine months in Afghanistan. The chapter donated food for the event as well as a check to Pease Greeters for $1,400.
