SIOR | New England chapter names Boudrot the 2013 president

SIOR | New England chapter, has named James Boudrot as the chapter's president for 2013. Boudrot last held office as the chapter's vice president and will work to strengthen SIOR's ties within the real estate industry. Boudrot is a senior vice president at NAI Hunneman. With over 20 years experience in commercial real estate, Boudrot specializes in the leasing and sales of office, R&D and lab space in the Greater Boston market, with an emphasis on technology, defense, software, medical device and life sciences companies. His impressive resume includes the successful negotiation of over 300 commercial real estate transactions, ranging from two person start-up companies to multi-national public corporations, totaling over 5 million s/f of space with a transaction value over $1 billion. "Jim's position at NAI Hunneman gives him fantastic experience to run our Chapter and his contacts and respect within commercial real estate makes him the perfect member for this position," said Thomas Farrelly, SIOR New England chapter president and executive director for Cushman & Wakefield. "Jim's sensibility for how the real estate industry works and ability to manage many projects and people will be a great asset to our organization." Boudrot received his bachelor of arts from University of Massachusetts Amherst. Boudrot has many professional affiliations and designations that include: Greater Boston Real Estate Board, Massachusetts Real Estate Broker, Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute (CCIM), Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR), and National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP). His interests include spending time with family, sailing, flying, music, baseball and charity work.
