Spurr of A.W. Perry, Inc., elected chairman of S.S. Chamber of Commerce

The president of A.W. Perry, Inc., John Spurr, has been elected the 2011 chairman of the board of the South Shore Chamber of Commerce. Spurr has served as a member on the Chamber Board since 2006 and as vice chair in 2010. "The chamber is the leading voice in support of economic development throughout the South Shore, and its advocacy has been very important to A.W. Perry and the many businesses included among its members," Spurr said. "I look forward to bringing our members together in 2011 to strengthen the Chamber and carry on this important mission." A.W. Perry is a privately held real estate development, investment, and management firm serving Boston and the South Shore. The South Shore Chamber of Commerce is an association of businesses committed to promoting the economic vitality of the region.
