Stewart and Woodworth of Savills Studley represent EMD Serono Inc. in 202,000 s/f lease renewal

Rockland, MA According to Savills Studley, EMD Serono Inc. the U.S. operating entity of  Merck KGaA, has renewed its headquarters lease at One Technology Place for 202,000 s/f, becoming the second largest lease agreement in suburban Boston this year.

Mark Stewart and Steve Woodworth of Savills Studley’s Boston office represented EMD Serono in the leasing. Rich Beal of Perry Brokerage associates represented the owner, A.W. Perry, Inc.

“The South Shore has provided an effective headquarters location for EMD Serono for over two decades,” said Stewart. “The decision to renew the lease at One Technology Place in Rockland was a strategic and cost effective solution for the company.”
