Storage Opportunity Partners LLC (StorageOp) has acquired Secure Self Storage. The acquisition brings StorageOp's holdings to 10 properties totaling 596,600 rentable s/f, 5,175 units and 940 outdoor storage spaces in its initial target markets of N.E. and southeastern Michigan. Secure Self Storage is situated at the interchange of I-195 and Rte. 140 in a high traffic, high visibility location. Built in 2003, the facility consists of 11 single-story storage buildings totaling 71,025 rentable s/f and 517 storage units. 25% of the rentable area is climate-controlled. The acquisition will create operational synergies with StorageOp's existing portfolio of four properties in eastern Mass. Storage Pros will be adding Budget Truck Rental to the facility. For more information visit www.storageop.com and www.thestorageprosonline.com.
