The Stubblebine Co. represents F.W. Webb in $4.45 million building purchase

Auburn, MA The F.W. Webb Company, a wholesale distributor of plumbing, heating, cooling and industrial products, has purchased 33 Sword St., a 75,000 s/f single story industrial facility situated on 3.04 acres. F.W. Webb purchased the property for $4.45 million.

The site was the former Imperial Distributors distribution center for several decades before Imperial relocated to its current location at 150 Blackstone River Rd. in Worcester, in a long-term 325,000 s/f lease transaction also facilitated by The Stubblebine Co.

F.W. Webb currently has a location at 43 Sword St. The company anticipates opening the new wholesale store by the end of August, and a retail kitchen, bath and lighting showroom by the end of the year.  F.W. Webb will continue to operate out of 43 Sword St. until the new location is ready. 

“Our business has grown, and we are moving the location to a larger building to meet the needs of both our F.W. Webb wholesale customers and our retail Frank Webb Home customers,” said Bob Mucciarone, F.W. Webb COO. “We are excited to expand our presence in the greater Worcester area.”
