Danbury, CT STV|DPM, formerly Diversified Project Management (DPM), a leading provider of owner’s representative services, is nearing completion of its engagement with the Connecticut Institute For Communities (CIFC) to facilitate the opening of a new, 37,000 s/f, $15 million medical office building for use by CIFC’s Greater Danbury Community Health Center.

STV|DPM provided comprehensive owner’s project management services including finance and budget management, as well as construction administration/observation and commissioning. Vice president, Mark DuPre’, AIA, senior associate, oversaw the STV|DPM team that was led by senior project managers Gary Brallier, and Geralyn Hoerauf, AIA.  

The STV|DPM team worked closely with Verdi Construction, Quisenberry-Arcari Architects and Studio Q Architects to deliver the new facility located on the corner of Main and Boughton Sts. in City Center Danbury, a redevelopment in downtown.  

The new community health center facility will house clinical medical services, behavioral health services and CIFC administration offices. It includes a pharmacy and access to parking and public transportation, and is projected to serve about 20,000 patients annually.

The project is being funded through the federal New Markets Tax Credits program as a Qualified Low-Income Community Investment (QLICI) project with investments from the Primary Care Development Corporation of New York City, the Massachusetts Housing Investment Corporation of Boston, and JP Morgan Chase Bank of NYC. The project also received a $4 million grant from the Connecticut Department of Community and Economic Development, and private mortgage funding from Union Savings Bank of Danbury and Eastern Bank of Boston.  STV|DPM is also managing/monitoring the construction loan process and executing the application for all project accounting requirements.

STV|DPM also collaborated with Independent Materials Testing Lab (IMTL), and IES Engineers.
