Summit brokers freestanding Taco Bell entry into Cape Cod market

Yarmouth, MA Summit Realty Partners has completed a significant real estate transaction that will bring the first freestanding Taco Bell to the Cape Cod market, marking an important milestone for its client.

After years of evaluating potential sites, Summit Realty Partners identified the opportune location and helped Taco Bell secure it by working closely with the landlord’s broker, Eastern Retail Properties. The restaurant will follow the town’s design standards and blend with the regional Cape Cod aesthetic through Hardie board siding, architectural shingles, a mansard roofline, and a beach-inspired color palette.

Mark Raymond, director of development and facilities for Desert De Oro Foods said, “We are very excited to kick off our Taco Bell location in Yarmouth, MA. The Cape is a market we have been looking to expand into and become part of the Cape Cod Community for several years and can’t wait to see what other opportunities there are on Cape Cod! Travis and Chris from Summit Realty are phenomenal partners, and we can’t wait to see what opportunities come next.”

“Cape Cod has been a target market for Taco Bell for a long time. Opening in Wareham earlier this year allowed us to cross the bridge and enter the Cape,” said Chris McMahon, principal & director of brokerage at Summit Realty Partners.

“This transaction reflects the value we bring to clients: understanding their long-term strategy, knowing the market, and staying with the process until the right deal comes together.”

Summit Realty Partners continues to work closely with Desert De Oro Foods, Inc. / Taco Bell on its regional growth strategy and is actively seeking additional development opportunities throughout Cape Cod, Southern Massachusetts, and Rhode Island. The preferred site footprint is approximately 0.75 acres, capable of accommodating a 2,500 s/f restaurant with a drive-thru, with opportunities considered for either ground lease or purchase.
