Thomas Sweeney, Sweeney Real Estate & Appraisal
Sweeney Real Estate & Appraisal opened its new office on October 1. The company will offer brokerage, appraisal and consulting services for office, retail and industrial businesses. With more than 25 years of experience in the industry, Sweeney offers analytical expertise and knowledge of the regulatory, legal, zoning and banking processes.
A graduate of Providence College, Sweeney launched his career in commercial real estate in 1983, and was an executive vice president with Henry W. Cooke Co. until 1997. He then moved to Rodman Real Estate, most recently as vice president. He began Sweeney Real Estate Appraisal in the early 2000s, and this fall left Rodman to start his new venture.
He is a licensed real estate broker in R.I. and Mass., a R.I. Certified General Appraiser, and a member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors of the National Association of Realtors, with an Industrial Specialist designation.
