After an eighteen-month due diligence process that resulted in the signing of a purchase and sales agreement, New-York-based Lockwood Development Partners has closed the deal with Care New England Health Systems to purchase the long vacant Memorial Hospital site.

East Greenwich, RI Dakota Partners closed on phase 2 of Brookside Terrace, a new affordable housing community. Construction for the entire development is well underway, with phase 1 completion anticipated for early summer.

Middletown, RI Shawmut Design and Construction has completed a $14 million historic restoration to the Memorial Schoolhouse at St. George’s School, a private boarding and day school for students in grades 9-12. In partnership with design firm Vision 3 Architects, Shawmut executed the exterior restoration and comprehensive interior renovation of the 28,000 s/f, three-story building.
