Tanner hired as chief financial advisor for WinnResidential

Cynthia Tanner has been hired at WinnCompanies as chief financial officer for WinnResidential, the property management arm of the company. As chief financial officer, Tanner reports to WinnCompanies CEO Gilbert Winn. She also works with the WinnCompanies board of directors to develop business strategies that support the overall mission, goals and objectives of the company. Additionally, Tanner will be responsible for the management and control of accounting, technology, purchasing, asset and risk management functions, business systems and finance related functions. "We are excited to welcome such a seasoned executive to the WinnResidential team," said Winn. "Cynthia's prior experience as a financial leader for large, complex portfolios has produced an impressive track record. She brings a strategic mind to our efforts in the pursuit of new diverse development and acquisition opportunities." Tanner joined WinnResidential after serving for four years as the chief accounting officer for Bozzuto Management Company, a mixed-use and multifamily property management company that operates throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast. Prior to Bozzuto, Tanner also held management positions for more than 10 years at private equity firms, such as MG Properties, Centara Capital Group, Inc. and Senior Resource Group, LLC. Tanner is a Certified Public Accountant and she holds a MBA in Finance as well as a bachelor of science degree in Accounting from the University of Baltimore. She has served on several boards of directors for nonprofits and is active in financial executive groups throughout the country.
