TD Bank opened a new branch at 2525 West Shore Rd. The new location is the bank's fifth in the state. As of January 31, the bank has brought more than 60 jobs to the state.
The new branch also reflects the bank's dedication to a green philosophy, as it is the 60th energy-efficient location across the bank's Maine to Florida footprint. It will target LEED Platinum certification based on its overall environmental performance. It is the fourth in R.I. that is USGBC LEED designed.
To manage the new store and its 9-12 employees, TD Bank has appointed Patrick Mooney as branch manager. Mooney was formerly a manager with Sovereign Bank.
