The Bulfinch Cos. names Aylward as assistant vice president, controller

Jessica Aylward

Boston, MA The Bulfinch Companies, Inc. (Bulfinch) has hired Jessica Aylward, who is joining Bulfinch’s financial reporting team as assistant vice president, controller. Aylward will work closely with the financial reporting team to oversee property accounting across the firm’s expanding portfolio. This strategic new hire is the latest in many recent additions to Bulfinch’s growing and diverse leadership team following the companies slate of appointments and promotions announced earlier this spring.

Aylward comes to Bulfinch with more than a decade of experience in finance and accounting, previously holding several notable positions. Most recently, Aylward served as controller for Laz Parking Realty Investors where she oversaw financials for a nationwide $900 million investment portfolio of parking assets. Prior to her time at Laz Parking Realty Investors, Aylward served as an accounting manager at Benchmark Senior Living during which she managed her own accounting team and was responsible for the company’s financial reporting.

“Jessica’s deep knowledge in the financial reporting sector will be a great addition to the Bulfinch team as we continue to grow,” said Joelle Denham, SVP, CFO of Bulfinch. “Jessica joining the company is just another example of our commitment to hiring the right people for the roles we look to fill, while continuing to diversify our leadership team and beyond.”
