The Davis Companies breaks ground on 85-unit Telford 180

Allston, MA The Davis Companies (TDC) broke ground on Telford 180, an 85-unit condominium building overlooking Soldiers Field Rd. and the Charles River. The six-story building offers onsite amenities, is surrounded by green space, and is connected by a pedestrian footbridge to a public park and the Charles River waterfront.

Telford 180 is now under construction, with an anticipated completion date of early fall 2017. The building is designed to incorporate a variety of materials such as woods and metals, producing a contemporary design aesthetic. The project architect is CUBE3 with Stantec and Ryan Associates providing landscape design services.

This new home ownership opportunity offers a mix of studio, 1-bedroom, 2-bedroom and 3-bedroom condominiums. Each residence includes large windows and high ceilings, a washer and dryer, and a kitchen with an open, modern layout. The building is designed to reflect the area’s vibrant arts scene, and provides residents with ample on-site conveniences, including 84 interior garage parking spaces, and amenities for an active lifestyle.

The first floor offers a contemporarily designed lobby, rowing room, and bike storage area with a lounge and dog wash. The building’s second floor clubhouse opens to an outdoor courtyard complete with grills, a fire pit and green space. The clubhouse also features a lounge with gathering space, a fireplace, café and shuffle board table. Additional amenities include private conference rooms and a fitness center with an outdoor wellness retreat area.

The area’s existing green space and streetscape improvements will be augmented by a new publicly accessible 6,000 s/f pocket park, located at the intersection of Western Ave. and Telford St., that is being developed by The Davis Companies as part of the Telford 180 project.
