The former Bradford College campus in has been sold to Zion Bible College of Barrington, Rhode Island for $3.5 million.

Senior vice president Robert Cronin of Meredith & Grew represented the seller in this 18-acre educational campus transaction. Bradford College opened in 1803 as a private liberal arts college and the institution prospered until May 2000 when competitive enrollment pressures forced its closure. Zion Bible College will relocate from Rhode Island after renovations to the property are complete. Located about 32 miles north of Boston in the heart of the Merrimack Valley, the eight-building, 320,000 s/f campus is situated on 18 acres. The campus is close to I-495, 95 and 93. "This transaction was a classic example of a win-win situation," said Cronin. "The seller, buyer and local community all benefited in the end because all parties persisted and strived to accomplish the stated goal of finding a renaissance plan for the beautiful Bradford College campus."
