The Geenty Group brokers four transactions totaling 23,000 s/f

The Geenty Group, Realtors in Branford has brokered a lease at 14 Commercial St. TRU Events Marketing, LLC has leased 18,000 s/f of the 24,000 s/f flex building. James Cash, president and CEO, said that there has been excellent growth in their trade show business of late. TRU events provides the entire process to clients for their trade show needs from booth construction to set up to storage. The building, including some of the mechanical systems, will be fully renovated and fit up to the tenant's specifications prior to occupancy. The leasing agents were Kevin Geenty, SIOR of The Geenty Group and David Hansen of CB Richard Ellis in New Haven. The landlord, Comm 14 Associates, LLC, was represented by Fred Petrella, CCIM of Connecticut Realty Group, LLC in New Haven.
The Geenty Group also brokered the sale of 52 Wall St., Madison for over $600,000. The 2,600 s/f, 1½ story building was previously used as a real estate brokerage office on a large lot with 30 car parking in the downtown portion of Madison. The buyer, 52 Wall Street, LLC, has purchased the property and has plans for an 80+ seat restaurant/bar. The seller is Bible Hill Associates, LLC. The sale was brokered by Kevin Geenty, SIOR and Kristin Geenty, SIOR. Attorney Jeffrey Beatty of Guilford represented the seller, and attorney Michael Iacurci of Madison represented the buyer.
In another transaction, The Geenty Group leased 1,400 s/f of space at 2234 Silas Deane Hwy. in Rocky Hill. Kristin Geenty, SIOR, represented the tenant, Wireless Evolution. Bryce Lauro, managing member of Wireless Evolution and owner of the Sprint retail and service store which occupies the space, is the owner of two other Sprint stores in Southington and Wethersfield,. 2234 Silas Deane is a multi-tenant strip center anchored by Dunkin' Donuts and now Sprint. The landlord is Wethersfield Realty, LLC, and was represented by John Mullin of Reno Properties Group of Newington.

Kristen Geenty, SIOR, president of The Geenty Group also leased 1,000 s/f of flex space at 430 Industrial Park Rd., an industrial park located in Deep River. The new tenant is Jeffrey Going. Going is an independent contractor offering the specialized service of inflatable boat repair. He has many years in the industry, spending a good portion of his career with Zodiac in both sales and service. David Fleischman represented the tenant, and Kevin Geenty, SIOR represented the landlord, Theodore MacKenzie.
