The Hamilton Co. enters 1,722 s/f lease agreement with Arwa Yemeni Coffee

Brookline, MA The Hamilton Company completed a commercial lease agreement with Arwa Yemeni Coffee and its occupancy of 1,722 s/f at 1333 Beacon St. The agreement establishes the first retail location offering Yemeni coffee in the area.

“We are thrilled to help bring Arwa Yemeni Coffee to Brookline,” said Jameson Brown, chairman and CEO of The Hamilton Company. “The company’s exciting customer experience featuring Yemeni coffee, food, and culture represents the type of dynamic retail tenant that we value.”

Arwa Yemeni will join other retailers in Coolidge Corner such as Maguro Restaurant, Lee’s Burgers, AT&T, UPS, Michael’s Deli and others. Andy White of Sherwin Avenue Partners represented the tenant, Arwa Yemeni Coffee, during negotiations. The Hamilton Company was represented by Carol Rash – director of commercial property and asset management. 

“This commercial lease agreement at 1333 Beacon St. will add even more depth to the vibrant business community in Brookline,” Rash said. “Arwa Yemeni Coffee is a unique new addition to the neighborhood that complements other commercial tenants in the immediate area.” 

Founded in 2022 and named after the Yemeni queen, Arwa Yemeni Coffee specializes in serving traditional Yemeni coffee and tea along with modern drinks and baked goods. They have ten locations in Texas, Illinois, Connecticut, and California, with plans to expand into other states nationwide. 

“We are excited to announce the opening of our first location in Massachusetts. This milestone marks an important step in our growth, and we are honored to bring our brand, culture, and values to a new community,” said Faris Almatrahi, one of the co-founders and owners of Arwa Yemeni. “As we expand, our goal remains the same: to best represent our brand with authenticity, quality, and hospitality. We look forward to continuing to serve as strong ambassadors of our culture while building meaningful connections throughout Massachusetts.”
