The Lexvest Group completes renovation of Sutton Place in Truro

Developer, The Lexvest Group led by Eric Shapiro is reinventing Sutton Place, a collection of 1930s-era cottages and multifamily residences located on Shore Rd. Shapiro acquired the property earlier this year and, with planning, has brought about significant upgrades without losing the charm of "Olde Cape Cod." "Our vision was to simultaneously restore and preserve Sutton Place," said Shapiro, president of The Lexvest Group, a commercial real estate firm. "It's a throwback to yesteryear and a simpler way of life - literally at one of the most beautiful, remote points along the entire East Coast. It's about 100 miles from Boston, but it may as well be a million." Sutton Place offers two home-style choices: There are 18 freestanding summer cottages, each 250 s/f - and there are 11 larger single and multifamily residences. All owners have access to Sutton Place's 1,000-foot long private beach. Eighteen of the units are waterfront, Eleven are water view. According to Matt Blackham who is spearheading Sutton Place sales and marketing, "This is an ideal place for anyone looking to escape their hectic workday schedules. We've had inquiries from some folks who already have a Cape home, but want to own a place on the beach. Here's an affordable way to invest in one of the Cape's most desirable locations. Peaceful, yet not too far from the area's natural and man-made amenities." Sutton Place's biggest neighbor is the Cape Cod National Seashore with 40 miles of coastline and 43,000 acres of sand, ponds and woods. There are views of Provincetown and Cape Cod Bay. Within sight is Cape Cod Light, built in 1857.
