Lynnfield, MA The return of The Rink at MarketStreet Lynnfield is always a welcome sign that both the holiday season and outdoor winter fun are just around the corner. Considered as one of the North Shore region’s most beloved outdoor winter destinations and traditions, The Rink opened for its ninth season on Monday, November 14.

Ice skaters and guests alike will once again be treated to a spectacle of twinkling lights at MarketStreet Lynnfield as they illuminate the ice and various areas of the property while a rotating playlist of musical hits and seasonal favorites will get skaters and shoppers moving and grooving. Surrounding the perimeter of The Rink are several cast iron chimenea gas fire pits and benches, giving guests a place to relax, and enjoy time outdoors. The Warming Tent houses skate rentals and keeps both spectators and skaters warm. Open from November 14 through February 26, The Rink is located on The Green (near lululemon, J.Crew and JP Licks).

New this year at The Rink are monthly themed weekday skates for kids including themes such as Superheroes, Pirates, and a Santa Skate. Each skater will receive a special accessory for their skates tied to that weekend’s particular theme, adding even more festive fun to this year’s Rink.
