The Shops at Blackstone Valley adds four retailers to 35,000 s/f expansion

Millbury, MA The Shops at Blackstone Valley have four new brands opening in 2027 — Caffè Nero, Topcoat Nail Bar & Spa, Lovesac, and First Watch — continuing the momentum at the premier open-air shopping destination.

The four new brands are part of The Shops’ nearly 35,000 s/f retail expansion, which introduces two new centrally located buildings designed to complement the property’s open-air environment with pedestrian-friendly features and alfresco dining opportunities. The buildings already include modern American restaurant Yard House, which opened this past summer, and will soon welcome Caffè Nero; Topcoat Nail Bar & Spa; and Lovesac. Previously announced dining and wellness concepts joining this new destination include Shake Shack, Sweetgreen, and LaserAway, with additional businesses to come.

First Watch, the daytime dining restaurant specializing in breakfast, brunch, and lunch, will open across the way from the two-building expansion in 2027. This growth builds on the recent arrivals of Apple and Coach, along with Wonder and Aerie.

Also on tap for this fall is Avvio Ristorante, the Rhode Island-based contemporary Italian-American concept set to open its first Massachusetts location at the property — the latest sign of the growing appetite among top retail and restaurant brands to plant roots at The Shops at Blackstone Valley.
