The Simboli Properties breaks ground on new 26,000 s/f Baldor Boston high bay refrigeration and freezer space

The Simboli Properties broke ground in June on the new Baldor Boston warehouse at 215 Williams St. The Simboli Props., which negotiated the new Baldor lease (http://nerej.com/55687), negotiated $2.7 million in new financing through Citizens Bank to complete the project. "We are thrilled to be able to take on this project which will enhance all aspects of the Baldor business in Chelsea," said Anthony Simboli, president and founder of The Simboli Props. "We're excited to be a partner of Baldor's as it continues to grow in their new space and expand in Chelsea." The new facility will encompass over 26,000 s/f of high bay refrigeration and freezer space, more than tripling Baldor Boston's previous space of 7 years on Second St. in Chelsea." "The Simboli Properties did an exceptional job in providing Baldor with the space it needed to accommodate its incredible growth," said Chelsea city manager Jay Ash. "While the new warehouse will no doubt be beneficial to Baldor, it will also enhance the development of Chelsea by driving business and adding jobs. Baldor is an integral part of Chelsea's economic growth and we're thrilled they decided to stay here." Baldor imports and distributes fresh produce and high quality specialty products from around the world, such as fresh dairy, imported and domestic cheeses, foie gras, pates, cured meats, truffle products, balsamic vinegar, extra virgin olive oil, and a full line of pastry and grocery products. Baldor has become a source for one-stop shopping of fine foods, backed by a quality of service that has raised the industry standard.
