Easton, MA Sunshine and blue skies cooperated to make the 34th Annual Jack Conway Memorial Golf Tournament for the Homeless a big success. The event raised more than $15,000 to help fund programs, services and housing for the homeless in Southeastern Massachusetts.

“The Conway Country Charity Golf Tournament has contributed more than $500,000 to homeless causes since its inception in 1984,” said Conway CEO/president Carol Bulman. “My father would be very pleased that the event he established in 1984, which now bears his name, continues to work toward the aim of ending homelessness in our region.”

As in previous years, proceeds from the fundraiser will go to Father Bill’s & MainSpring, which operates homeless shelters in Quincy, Brockton, Plymouth, Wareham, Middleboro, and Stoughton, the Charity Guild’s food pantry in Brockton, and My Brother’s Keeper in Easton and Dartmouth, among other charitable organizations.

“This year’s tournament drew 120 golfers to the beautiful Easton Country Club for a day of play with a purpose,” said Bulman. “We thank everyone who participated, as well as the many corporate and individual sponsors who supported this very important cause.”
