Timberline Construction hires Connell as CFO

Canton, MA With additional growth on the horizon, Timberline Construction Corp. (Timberline) and Timberline Communications Inc. (TCI) have hired Clare Connell as CFO. Connell’s accomplished background in accounting and finance, specifically in the construction sector, will have a transformative effect on the current and future growth of both organizations.

“Clare was an obvious fit for the CFO role. She has led teams and other companies through tremendous growth, and bringing that experience to our financial leadership she will be an instrumental part of our future,” said Timberline and TCI’s CEO, Steven Kelly. “We have been working hard to attract visionary leaders to Timberline who embrace innovation and evolution. Clare undoubtedly fits that description and will redefine how we approach our financial and operational goals.”

Connell brings to the companies a wealth of industry exposure to guide each business through their planned growth and evolution. She is a respected leader with over 20 years of financial management and strategic planning experience.

Most recently, she played a key role in stewarding a company’s expansion across more than 10 geographic locations, successfully doubling its size to over $1.5 billion.

Connell holds both an MS and MBA from Northeastern University’s Graduate School of Professional Accounting and B.A. in Italian Studies from Boston College. She is a board member of the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA) of Massachusetts and an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Certified Construction Industry Financial Professionals.
