Boston, MA Torrington Properties (Torrington), a diversified commercial real estate development, investment and property management company with corporate offices in Boston, and Portsmouth, N.H., has hired Jordan Recine as the company’s new general manager for its commercial real estate portfolio.

“Jordan’s experience and commitment to excellence makes him a welcome addition to our team,” said Torrington director of property operations and asset management Matthew Donaghey. “This new position helps us continue to create a best-in-class experience at each of our properties while supporting our dynamic tenant roster.”

Recine will oversee Torrington’s growing commercial portfolio. On the retail side, this includes Mill Plaza in Durham, N.H.; Fort Eddy Plaza in Concord, N.H.; and the Mall at Fox Run in Newington, N.H. Recine will also oversee 100 Domain Dr., a premier, flexible-use office building in Exeter, N.H. and 9 Batchelder Rd., an industrial building in Seabrook, N.H.

Recine was previously an assistant vice president and general manager for Hobbs Brook Real Estate (HBRE), where he managed a 1 million s/f life science property portfolio. He began his career as an assistant property manager at Barkan Management Company and is a graduate of Saint Michael’s College with a bachelor’s degree in business management.
