Touchstone Closing adds new partners and new retail closing office

March 26, 2021 - Retail

Andover, MA Massachusetts based real estate law firm, Touchstone Closing, names two new partners, an associate attorney and a new retail closing office to meet market demand. The local firm with more 5-star Google Reviews than any other firm in New England, specializes in real estate closings.

Peter Smith boasts more than 15 years of experience of residential real estate transactions including building his own successful solo practice. Touchstone Closing stands to benefit from this merger and appointment of Smith to partner as he brings dedicated advocacy for his clients, technical knowledge and outstanding customer service to the firm’s continued growth. With Smith’s arrival, comes a new retail closing office for the firm at 289 Main St. in Salem NH.

Having been with Touchstone since the beginning, David Allosso has been promoted to partner. Allosso counsels clients on purchase and sale agreements, leases, and quieting problem titles.

Michelle Beauregard has also joined as an associate attorney. Beauregard quickly learned about title examination and transferring of property, and showed a natural talent for real estate law.

During the 2008 economic crash and subsequent housing crisis, Beauregard evolved into the foreclosure / default field to assist in the sales of REO properties. Today her practice has returned to negotiating purchase and sale agreements, reviewing title examinations, title curative, and assisting real estate agents, buyers and sellers through the entire transaction process. Beauregard lives in Chelmsford, MA with her husband and three sons.

“We couldn’t be happier to welcome Pete and Michelle to the Touchstone Closing team and to see David rise to Partner”, said John K. O’Donohue, Co-Founder and Managing Partner. “As the housing market continues to be strong we’re very pleased to have made these personnel decisions to put us in the best possible position to support our partners and this booming market.”

This news comes on the heels of Touchstone celebrating five years in business.
