U.S. Pavement Services, Inc., one of the leading seal coat and paving contractors in the U.S., has completed the maintenance work for the asphalt at several University of Conn. facilities. The primary work was done as part of renovations on UConn's Rentschler field, including the sealcoating of the inner walkways and concourses of the stadium. The cost for the sealcoating was $20,000.
"U.S. Pavement Services is very pleased to have built this relationship with UConn, and we look forward to continuing it into the future," said president Mike Musto. "We are certain that our level of professionalism, workmanship, and safety will lead to great results on this project."
UConn's Rentschler Field is undergoing extensive renovations and U.S Pavement Service's work has played a part in these improvements. The asphalt of the walkways and concourses were protected by a coating of 2,500 gallons of sealcoat. The parking lot area of over 120,000 feet was power cleaned, treated, sealed and then properly painted to mark parking lines.
"We are very pleased with the work that US. Pavement Services has done," said Jay Martyn, stadium operations manager at Rentschler Field.
