Union Savings Bank selects seven new corporators at annual meeting

Danbury, CT Union Savings Bank president and CEO Chelen Reyes and chairman of the board of trustees John Murphy, MD, have named the election of seven new corporators at USB’s recent annual meeting.

“We are pleased to welcome these seven dedicated individuals as our newest corporators,” said Reyes. “They bring a wealth of expertise in specialized fields such as research and development, healthcare, construction, investment management, data analytics, and non-profit leadership, which perfectly aligns with our commitment to providing unparalleled service and fostering community growth.”

The bank welcomes the following individuals: Matthew Bedoukian, Katherine McKean Curran, Lisa Esneault, William Hoadley, Grace Linhard, Benjamin Marcus, and Joseph McCluskey.

Matthew Bedoukian, PhD, MBA is the vice president of external research partnerships at Bedoukian Research. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Tufts University, a PhD in Biomedical Science from Colorado State University, and an MBA with distinction from the NYU Stern School of Business. Bedoukian has spent more than 17 years at his family business in the specialty chemical sector, leading efforts in research and development, production, and engineering. He is actively involved in his community, serving as a board member and treasurer of Easton/Redding United Soccer and volunteering as a youth soccer coach in Ridgefield. Bedoukian resides in Redding, CT.

Katherine McKean Curran, J.D. is the president and CEO of the Connecticut Institute For Communities, Inc. (CIFC). She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government from Hamilton College and a Juris Doctorate from Quinnipiac University School of Law. Curran also earned a certification in Non-Profit Financial Stewardship, from the Harvard Kennedy School’s Executive Education Program, and a certification in Health Care Compliance from the Health Care Compliance Association. Curran has extensive experience in non-profit leadership and law, having previously served on Capitol Hill and within the state judicial branch. She is deeply involved in the community, serving as board secretary and director for the Community Health Center Association of Connecticut and on the advisory councils for the Danbury Collective and the Boys & Girls Clubhouse of Danbury.  Curran resides in Waterbury, CT.

Lisa Esneault is managing director of marketing, communications & strategy at Regional Hospice. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Illinois and completed executive leadership training at Northwestern University. Esneault’s career includes extensive experience in corporate communications, human resources and philanthropy at Fortune 500 companies, previously serving as a vice president of Global Communications and president of Global Giving for Linde. She is deeply involved in the community, currently serving as co-chair for Danbury and New Milford Hospitals and as a board member for Western Connecticut Homecare. Esneault resides in Brookfield, CT.

William Hoadley is the owner and vice president of H&Y Construction, Inc., a custom home building and commercial construction firm. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Bryant University and has completed programs in Computer Information Systems and Construction Management at NYU. Hoadley has owned and operated H&Y Construction located in Monroe, for 39 years and manages several commercial buildings in the region. He resides in South Kent, CT.

Grace Linhard is the chief development officer for Northwell/Nuvance Health. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from Stonehill College. Linhard has led fundraising programs for over 32 years, including 22 years at Nuvance, where she focuses on strategic alignment and philanthropic investment. Her community service includes serving as the past chair of “Jane Doe No More” and volunteering with the RiverTown Young Marines. Linhard resides in Waterbury, CT.

Benjamin Marcus is a director at Soundview Real Estate Partners; a real estate private equity firm located in Greenwich. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Miami. Marcus, who brings over 20 years of experience to the role, has a professional focus on investment and wealth management and a strong background in operations and building strategic partnerships. He resides in Greenwich, CT.

Joseph McCluskey is a small business owner and the proprietor of Rein Osteria in Danbury. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Duquesne University. McCluskey is an experienced data analytics professional who has led business transformation projects focusing on consumer experience, while also operating local restaurants and real estate properties. He is active in community organizations such as the United Way, United Healthcare Children’s Foundation, Dorothy Day House, and Ann’s Place. McCluskey resides in Danbury, CT.
