Vantage Builders, Inc. hires MacLean as director of operations

Waltham, MA Vantage Builders, Inc., a general contracting and construction firm, has hired Kelly MacLean as director of operations. She will be part of the firm’s senior management team, with responsibility for developing, implementing and reviewing the firm’s operational efficiency, cost control management and internal procedures.

“Kelly has an impressive track record of success at all levels of the construction industry, which will greatly benefit both our firm and our clients,” said John Connor, principal of Vantage Builders. “We have grown significantly during the past two years, and having an experienced director of operations will ensure that we continue to strengthen our team and the service we provide to our clients.”

MacLean has more than 15 years of experience in the construction industry, directing operations, overseeing complex, multi-million dollar projects and managing cross-functional teams. Prior to joining Vantage Builders, she was a chief operating officer for Liberty Construction, establishing the firm’s West Coast division.

Previously she was the vice president of construction and development at O’Neill Properties, working on both commercial and residential projects, including a $60 million, 229-unit residential development, and the director of operations at Drywall, Ltd.

MacLean earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Emmanuel College, where she was named a Presidential Scholar. She is a member of the National Association of Women in Construction and a LEED Green Associate. She coaches youth soccer in Easton, Mass.

Vantage Builders offers contracting services to corporations, developers, property managers, retailers and private institutions throughout New England.
