Viking Construction promotes Moughty, DeFonce and Gee

 

 

 

Bridgeport, CT Viking Construction announces the promotion of Patrick Moughty from project manager to project executive, Mike DeFonce from project engineer to assistant project manager, and Jamaal Gee from site project engineer to site superintendent.

Moughty began his career as a carpenter working through the ranks to become office engineer, project engineer, superintendent, and project manager. He worked in custom high-end residential construction before moving into commercial construction at Viking in 2019.

DeFonce began his construction career in 2011 and joined Viking in 2025. He quickly proved his value in project management and quality control working on some of Viking’s more complex projects.

Gee has been with Viking since 2016 when he began working as a laborer. Since then, he has developed expertise in building CAD and GPS site models used for estimating, planning and project management.
