Viking Construction to break ground on The Heights at Darien
With construction crews - and cranes - ready to be put to work, Viking Construction, Inc., celebrated the groundbreaking of a new affordable housing community, The Heights at Darien.
Helping Viking mark the start of this project were Anthony Gaglio, Sr., Viking president and CEO; Governor Dannel Malloy; members of the Viking team Nick DeFranesco, Joe Pedroncelli, Craig Benak and Anthony Gaglio Jr.
The Heights community, which is located on the site of the former Allen-O'Neil Homes development, will include 106 affordable one, two, three and four-bedroom apartments and condos. Viking Construction demolished the existing buildings on the site and will serve as general contractor throughout the multi-phase project.
