VinCo Properties to hold opening of Shops at Chestnut Green - June 20th

VinCo Properties, Inc., a Boston-based real estate development company, will hold a grand opening of the retail space at The Shops at Chestnut Green, set for June 20th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Entertainment will include live music, hot air balloon tethered rides (weather permitting), face painting, a bounce house and much more. The Shops at Chestnut Green are located across the street from The Offices and The Apartments at Chestnut Green, and consist of 55,000 s/f in retail space. Retailers include stores and restaurants such as Waxy O'Connor's Irish Pub, Babel's Paint and Decorating, Reliable Dry Cleaners, The Learning Experience, Pizza Time, Sharon Credit Union, Supercuts, Tanorama, Foxy Nails, Glee Gifts, Mai Place, Elite Dance Center and Walgreens. Chestnut Green is an adaptive re-use development of the former 136 acre Foxborough State Hospital site into a mixed-use community consisting of retail, commercial, and residential housing units located approximately half a mile north from downtown. A strong team of industry leaders stands behind the Chestnut Green development. The development team is led by master developer VinCo's president and founder, Vince O'Neill. VinCo Properties is developing "The Shops" and "The Offices" and in partnership with Matthew Abrams of Abrams Properties, LLC developing 15 townhomes called The Carriage House Flats and 55 apartments. On the perimeter of the property, Michael Intoccia of Intoccia Construction Co. is developing single family homes and Douglas King of Douglas A. King Builders, Inc. is also developing single family homes in addition to 60 town homes.
