According to Cassidy Turley, Christopher Walsh, an associate vice president at the company, was honored for his service in the United States Marine Corps at the Veterans Day celebration in Newton. The event featured guest speaker Tom Mountain and a ceremony hosted by Newton's mayor Setti Warren, an Iraq veteran, to honor local veterans. In addition, Newton residents were encouraged to donate items varying from healthy snacks to used cellphones to support our troops overseas.
Walsh served in Iraq and Afghanistan before beginning his career in commercial real estate with Cassidy Turley.
"We are proud of Chris and his work serving our country," said Joe Fallon, regional managing principal at Cassidy Turley. "The dedication and diligence he learned in the Marines have translated well to the commercial real estate field. We know these skills will be valuable as he continues to grow in this profession."
