Washington Trust to open branch in East Providence

Washington Trust we will be opening a branch at 587 Taunton Ave., at the corner of Taunton and Pawtucket Aves. The full-service branch will feature a walk up and drive through ATM and is expected to open this fall. The Washington Trust Co. is a subsidiary of Washington Trust Bancorp, Inc., headquartered in Westerly. Washington Trust financial services include business banking, personal banking, and wealth management and trust services. The bank has 14 branches: Eleven in R.I., one in Conn. and two in Mass.
