Car Store owner Richard MacLeay purchased the 7-acre property with a 50,000 s/f pre-engineered steel frame structure to create an automotive center, providing sales, service, car washing and related automotive ancillary businesses. The facility is currently going through a design review and will accommodate immediate pre-owned car sales and other services, adding the Subaru Dealership within a year, from their current Norwich, Vt. showroom.
Waters said, "We did a multiple year search for this type of facility and when the bowling alley property became available, it was a natural to accommodate "The Car Store's future business plan."
