Weller and Aitken of Avison Young handle 20,137 s/f lease to eShare

Waltham, MA Avison Young has arranged a new sublease for eShare, a leading information security provider, on the second floor at 920 Winter St. The new headquarters will span 20,137 s/f, a substantial increase from eShare’s current 4,000 s/f office.

Kirk Weller and Tom Aitken from Avison Young’s Boston office represented eShare in this transaction, while the sublandlord, Fresenius Medical Care, was represented by Newmark.

“Tenants across Greater Boston are leasing and subleasing significantly in class A and trophy assets, and eShare’s expansion illustrates this growing trend of employers fueling growth and retention by migrating to higher-quality space,” said Weller. “This fully furnished and wired sublease at 920 Winter St. is a great solution, providing eShare with an ideal environment to support their continued growth and success.”

The class A office building in the Reservoir Woods office park will serve as the company’s new U.S. headquarters, marking a significant upgrade from their current location and offers a range of on-site amenities including a full-service café, a fitness center and covered parking. eShare’s new office space has a combination of private offices, small and large meeting rooms, multiple kitchens, training rooms, collaborations spaces and open area with newer sit-stand workstations.

“As we seek to expand our customer base, our staff has grown exponentially and we are very excited about the opportunities our new headquarters at 920 Winter St.t affords us,” said Nick Stamos, CEO, eShare.
