Earle Wason, Wason Associates HospitalityMany tough transactions but one of my favorite was to broker the 58 room Best Western Hotel in Brattleboro, VT. at a price close to $4 million, to a hotel company with a strong business model to grow their company and then brokering through a 1031 tax deferred exchange the 85 room Comfort Inn in Dover, N.H. for nearly $8 million to the seller of the Brattleboro property.
