Who or what inspired you to join the construction industry? I joined the construction industry to carry on my family business, never really considering the many times that I would be the “first” or “only” woman in the room. What has kept me here for over 20 years is the challenge of creating the things we imagine. The thrill of contributing to the creation of something beautiful and enduring, the desire to make that proverbial “mark” on the world, transcends gender.
