What was your greatest professional achievement or most notable project in the last 12 months? A new 200,000 s/f GMP-grade mRNA clinical manufacturing facility in Norwood, Mass. for Moderna Therapeutics. DPS worked closely with our architectural partner TRIA to provide architectural, engineering, and project management services. I worked on it from the very start and I was responsible for pulling the estimates together. It was a very large, complex project and I am proud of the role I played in its successful completion.

Who or what inspired you to join the construction industry? My uncle and his wife are civil engineers and inspired me to study civil engineering in college. After graduation I worked in the Philippines for a few years before moving to Singapore and then Boston. I have been in the construction industry for 30 years and, for the last 18 years, I have worked with life sciences companies. The work environment and company culture are very important to me. My former boss joined DPS and I followed him here over three years ago. He has been a mentor and I really enjoy working with him.
