XSS Hotels cuts ribbon on Hilton Garden Inn Foxboro Patriot Place

Foxboro, MA Excitement filled the air as XSS Hotels partners Leo Xarras and Mark Stebbins were joined at the Hilton Garden Inn ribbon cutting ceremony by Jonathan Kraft, president of The Kraft Group, town manager William Keegan, Jr. and general manager of Patriot Place Brian Earley. XSS Hotels is the owner and developer of the new hotel located at 27 Patriot Place. PROCON was the hotel’s designer and builder, and Colwen Hotel Management is providing comprehensive management services.

The hotel’s ideal location overlooks Gillette Stadium – home of the New England Patriots football team. This is the second hospitality property at Patriot Place by the Granite State’s vertically-integrated team of XSS Hotels, PROCON, and Colwen Hotel Management. The three companies previously collaborated on the neighboring Renaissance Hotel that opened in 2009.

Keegan weighed in on the new hotel’s community impact. “This latest venture not only compliments their neighboring Renaissance, but another quality hotel to this location will help further support and grow our regional economy.”

An authentic and contemporary experience awaits guests of the new hotel featuring spacious king and queen guestrooms designed for maximum comfort and convenience. Thoughtfully planned amenities include an indoor pool, 24-7 sundries market, state-of-the-art fitness center, a boardroom, lounge/bar area, and a 24-7 business center. The 3,000 s/f function room flows to an outdoor patio and is supported by a full-service kitchen and warming room for catering. While the total space is perfect for larger occasions, it can be subdivided into two smaller meeting rooms by an operable partition.

The 136-room hotel opened in November to sold-out occupancies and favorable public response. In particular, New England Patriots fans have an additional accommodation venue for the remainder of the 2016 football season. Stebbins said, “The New England Patriots have proven themselves to be the best team in the NFL, and we wanted to build a hotel that would suit their home turf.”

Additionally, hotel guests may combine their visit with holiday shopping at Patriot Place which is only a few steps away. The 350-acre complex offers a plethora of retailers and entertainment, and is visited by 20 million people annually. “We are pleased to be back at Patriot Place with the Hilton Garden Inn, which will provide our guests with another first-rate lodging option when they come to Foxboro,” said Xarras.

Earley said, “Our partnership with XSS hotels and PROCON has been tremendous. We are thrilled to see this relationship grow with the opening of the Hilton Garden Inn Foxborough Patriot Place. The result is incredible.”

The new 79,000 s/f hotel is part of the Hilton worldwide brand with 570 locations across six continents. Returning Hilton Honors guests can take advantage of the Hilton’s exclusive members-only benefits and book their rooms at the Patriot Place location. Earley said, “Once again XSS hotels and PROCON have delivered another high-end, first rate hotel to Patriot Place.”
