Zawatsky joins DPM; to focus on RI market

Diversified Project Management (DPM), an owners' representative firm providing programming, project management, construction administration, furniture coordination and move-planning services, has hired Marc Zawatsky as project executive.
At DPM, Zawatsky will be focusing on the Rhode Island market and will be managing a new housing project for Bryant University. He will also coordinate with the Bryant team to navigate the town zoning and planning board approvals process and the permitting process through the DEM.  
Zawatsky has a background in owners project representation, construction management, master planning, capital improvement and life cycle facilities management.  He brings expertise in the area of sustainable development and life cycle management and is an U.S. Green Building Council LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) accredited professional.

Prior to DPM, Zawatsky worked as director of construction and facilities management for a North American Religious Non-Profit.  As director of construction and facilities management, Zawatsky was in charge of development, updates to and implementation of Master Plan processes at thirteen North American campuses, encompassing over 10,000 acres and in excess of $500 million in constructed facilities.  
Zawatsky also served as a BOCA (Building Officials and Code Administrators) certified building official for the town of Bristol, RI and possesses certifications in construction management, construction contracts administration, construction documents technology and has an unrestricted construction supervisor's license in Massachusetts. He has successfully acted as the owner's project manager on multiple public and private assignments and is the former owner of a contract glazing company.
