East Cambridge, MA The Business Association of East Cambridge began as an effort to address the needs of local businesses and the neighborhood through the efforts of the Consortium of Arts, Leisure Time and Business, which formed in December 2007 and meets monthly at the Multicultural Arts Center. Having just started with a handful of members, the association intends to grow its membership by inviting all businesses in the area to join with a common vision. For years the lure of living in East Cambridge has been attributed to a number of factors but, one very important factor is the residential proximity to neighborhood businesses. The residents can walk to do their shopping and experience the cultural and business diversity this neighborhood offers. East Cambridge consists of new businesses and some that have been serving the neighborhood for over three generations. The Business Assn. of East Cambridge aims to preserve the rich history and integrity of East Cambridge while providing fertile ground for new ideas that will meet the overall needs of its business and residential communities. The current members of The Business Assn. of East Cambridge are as follows:

1. Atwoods Tavern (877 Cambridge St.)

2. Boston Bed Co. (616 Cambridge St.)
