J. Calnan & Associates awarded 33,200 s/f for Emulex

J. Calnan & Associates, Inc. was awarded the construction management services for Emulex. This fast track project includes the renovation and consolidation of their existing offices and laboratories to 33,200 s/f. The project team includes Packard Design architecture; WB Engineers, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection engineers; and Dowling Houy, project management. The project involves upgrades to the office space and common areas, including a gym; renovation and expansion of the restrooms and shower facilities; and the construction of new laboratory space to support their business. Additional features will include high-end finishes throughout. All of this work must be done adjacent to and within occupied spaces, and sensitivity to the occupants will be practiced at all times.
