60 Popieluszko Court - Hartford, CT

60 Popieluszko Court was built in 1935 but was rehabbed in 2005.  The building offered some the most attractive architectural features in the Hartford area and was sold fully furnished. It was the former home of Families in Crisis Inc. which was shuttered in July of last year when the state cut funding to 26 non-profits.

The new owners, Connecticut Fair Housing Center, are moving after over 20 years at 221 Main St., and needed a larger space for their expanding office and will occupy the entire building.

Families in Crisis was an organization in New Haven, Waterbury and Hartford that provided counseling to children and transportation to help them visit their relatives behind bars. Office Associates, LLC also known as Sovereign Asset Management or Sovereign Trading out of Norwich was the owner and manager and after having already sold the majority of their Hartford Portfolio decided to sell off the last piece in Hartford.

Since 1994, the Connecticut Fair Housing Center has provided free investigative and legal services to residents who believe they have been the victims of housing discrimination. The Center also has provided education and conducted outreach on fair housing and fair lending issues throughout Connecticut. In addition, the Center has worked with the State of Connecticut, cities, towns, housing developers, housing managers, and others to promote compliance with federal fair housing laws.

O,R&L Commercial, LLC with offices in Branford and Rocky Hill represents landlords, tenants, sellers and buyers in the office, retail, medical, multi-family, investment and industrial markets.
