2021 Women in Construction: Nicole Cuff, Senior Consultant, Acentech

Starting out in the construction business, who or what empowered you? I was fortunate that during my undergraduate studies at Boston University there were many women in the engineering department. This gave me confidence knowing that I was not alone, and that there were many other women going into similar situations as me. Once I graduated and started working professionally, I was able to learn from and be inspired by female leaders in the industry, including Judy Nitsch and Colleen Shinney. Watching them be successful gave me the confidence that I, too, could succeed in the field.
