What was your greatest professional achievement or most notable project in the last 12 months? I love seeing projects that required complex design and permitting move forward into the construction phase! It’s very satisfying to finally see your hard work and creative solutions taking shape.

When you’re not busy, what is your go to book or podcast to help you unwind? I like to put in my headphones and listen to Planet Money by NPR on walks around my neighborhood.

Within your firm, who has helped you succeed within the industry? How have they helped you? My managers are always looking for opportunities to lift me up. They empower me to try new things and are confident I will succeed. I’m also fortunate to have great support at Bohler outside of my local office. Our Women’s Professional Network and mentoring program are amazing resources. My mentor has encouraged me to see my value and helped me build confidence.

What tips or advice would you offer to other women who are considering entering the construction industry? Though it may feel like it at times, you aren’t alone! There are so many friendly faces and great resources to take advantage of as a woman in the construction field.
