What recent project, transaction, or accomplishment are you most proud of? The project I am most proud of is an inpatient surgery expansion at Heywood Hospital in Gardner, Mass. This project was my first real introduction to healthcare work, and it challenged me to think outside the box when it came time to design the systems. This project helped me grow a lot as an engineer and it allowed me to get exposure with leading coordination calls.

What are the most important factors women in your industry should consider when choosing a firm to build their career with? The most important factor when looking for a firm is if there is a mentorship program. Having a good mentor is extremely helpful because they will help guide you based on what you want your career to look like. 

Who inspires you most? What qualities do they possess that inspire you? My former boss inspires me the most. She always came to work with a “can do” attitude and that always set the mood for the day. Her compassion and positive outlook on life made going to work fun and enjoyable.
