“Kurt is an integral part of the Robinson+Cole affordable housing finance practice and is always willing and able to take on challenging transactions. He has shown leadership within the firm by mentoring and training junior associates as well as being actively involved with organizations outside of the office that promote the need for access to affordable housing, including the Lawyers Clearinghouse Leadership Committee’s annual meeting, the Boston Bar Association Real Estate Section’s Public Policy Committee, and his town’s Affordable Housing Trust, on which he is currently a trustee.” - Matthew Lawlor, Real Estate + Development Group Co- chair at Robinson+Cole.
What recent professional milestone or project are you most proud of, and why? Last year, I played a key role in closing nearly two dozen complex affordable housing finance transactions on behalf of a major institutional lender. I’m proud to be part of a talented, dedicated team that met our clients’ needs by combining deep industry expertise with the ability to develop creative, innovative solutions under pressure. It’s incredibly rewarding to work on complex, meaningful matters-especially when it contributes to the creation of safe, affordable housing in the communities that need it most.
