Project or accomplishment you’re most excited about: I worked on numerous design-build projects with New England Center and Home for Veterans a few years ago. It was rewarding to see the tenants directly benefit from the construction work we were doing and to serve a community that is often overlooked.
Advice for women starting their careers: Go to industry events and meet as many people as you can. You never know what connections will lead to opportunities. If your company doesn’t offer a mentorship program, try to find someone you trust and can help you navigate your career. It is important to find people who will speak highly about you when you’re not in the room.
Habit that keeps you focused: I like to go to the gym a few times a week. The gym is woman-owned, and everyone is supportive and positive.
Fun or unexpected fact: I’ve been skydiving twice in Pennsylvania and Hawaii. It was a terrifying and amazing experience!
