I wish more women knew that traditional standards in the industry don’t have to define their future. Appreciate the leaders who set the tone and create space for women to share fresh ideas and ask the thoughtful questions. Curiosity and creative approaches bring value that can drive a project’s success from page to reality, leading to meaningful change along the way.
What is one piece of advice or perspective you would share with women beginning their careers in the construction industry? Find your collective. Knowing other women have shared your experiences and can offer perspective without judgment goes a long way. They’ll help you navigate challenges, keep you grounded, and be there to celebrate the wins as you grow.
